The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it truly is alarmed regarding the substantial range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The services place produced for intervention activities a high influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it here hard with the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to empower the servicing sassa status check of all customers and boost use of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
